Betteshanger Country Park can be found on the A258 approximately 2 miles from Deal, Kent on the A258 which is the main Deal to Sandwich Road.

The entrance has its own roundabout, look out for the large statue of a miner, and this is the exit you're looking for.

If you're coming from Deal/Dover then this is the roundabout, turn right....

Or if you're coming from the Sandwich direction, turn left

Parking

There is lots of parking available. Please note parking is Pay & Display. (Currently £3 for an all day ticket) which is payable before you leave the park. They use an ANPR system and even if you forget you can pay afterwards for up to 48 hours.(You can find out more information at their site here.) Please park in the first four bays if there is space (there should be room for 100+ cars there easily) before using the overflow parking area.

Facilities

For trail events (i.e. Cakeathon, Fowlmead Challenge) then the set up for base camp and the start finish is past the end of the car parks, for Road events (i.e. 100MC AGM Marathon, Good Bad & the Ugly Marathon, Fowlmead 50) its up a short concrete road to the tarmac loop.

There are toilets and showers available as well as a cafe which is typically open from 0930-1700.

The nearest train station is Deal and that's 2.9 miles away.
